Tutti Frutti

About the Outfit:
This is probably the most consumable goods that I've ever worn at once!  I have a pineapple skirt and a popcorn dress, but this wine plus fruits true vintage skirt and Heart of Haute pineapple Ella top is definitely taking the cake for the most "foodie" outfit that I've assembled!   I guess despite my novelty print whorishness I don't own many food prints in part because I'm not really a foodie.  Don't misunderstand--if I get excited about a restaurant I will crave it and go back repeatedly and clean the plate each time.  But that restaurant could be a nice place or a diner!

This skirt was a victim of Black Friday Sales being in the dead of winter and just not making it out of the closet until now.  I'm excited to wear it more in the coming months!  And Heart of Haute recently added this pineapple print Ella top that I snagged up in a blouse sale they had two weeks ago.  I don't fancy myself a trendy blogger as I not only lean towards vintage and/or classic looks but also enjoy the fashion mantra of just doing what I want, but I am accidentally trendy nowadays as pineapple prints are EVERYWHERE!  This is the second pineapple themed outfit this month alone, and more are coming over the summer!  (Hell, I recently wore an eShakti pineapple skirt on my Insta!)

Style Details:
Skirt- True vintage from Jumblelaya
Brooch- Atomic Lucite (If you can make it out, yes it's a Gilmore Girls still in a TV!  I'll be doing better zoomed in photos ASAP...technical difficulties)
Bag- Dooney and Bourke via Poshmark
Shoes- Nine West via Amazon

Music Time!
How could I not name this post "Tutti Frutti" after the Little Richard song?!  There's good music in every generation, despite what older generations believe about current music.  But I will say that Little Richard is a one of kind musician and I can't think of someone who has ever truly been able to duplicate him, and likely they never will.

  10. Yes to pineapple prints, they were all the rage last year and I think it's making a comeback again now. You look so cute!

  11. Hi dear! Yes, trendy because of pineapples, but I know you wear them anyway, it's just a coincidence that is a trend now! I loved this outfit, the print is really nice! It reminds me that I have to eat more fruits. I have never been ill for so long, this swine flu really knocked me out! Still feeling weak, so fruits are strongly recommended! I'd rather have them on an outfit :) I am like you, not a foodie really, but if I like a restaurant I tend to go there repeatedly. You look very beautiful, I love your style! Hope you have a nice June!

  12. This so cute! I love your skirt! It's too funny...I JUST ordered my first food print dress today. I've always been a fan of food prints but had never taken the plunge before. :) Also, your color coordinating is magnificent with this outfit! I love how even your hair and heels are all complementing each other!

  13. I love your print mixing! The top and skirt are both so cute. Pineapple prints are everywhere, but I have yet to buy anything pineapple printed lol. I'm still searching for my perfect piece!

  19. Such a cute top and skirt.

  20. Immensely pretty outfit! That skirt is a vision - I love the still life painting quality to it.

Hey, all!  I'm a big baseball fan and my mom is from Chicago so I grew up hearing about the Cubs history and am pretty amped to be here at game 7!  Anyone else into this year's World Series or have a fan favorite they're rooting for?
Anyway, I just wanted to do a quick post showing my fandom!  I decided to be silly and wear my Cubs tee with a skirt (same as my zombie skirt) from Retrolicious via ModCloth with bears all over them...get it?  Hehe. I'm not into totally normal sports attire, as I exhibited HERE. Stay safe tonight if you're out watching tonight!

What time is it?  THE TIME IS NOW.  Okay, now that I've gotten my favorite line from a Kids in the Hall sketch that I saw when I was 12 out of my system let's get to business!  The time is actually time to register for a watch giveaway and/or get a coupon, all thanks to JORD Watches. (Pronounced "Youd" as in like toad or road.  OR "Yoda" with no "a.")

Check out THIS LINK to try to get $100  towards a JORD watch and free sizing AND shipping.  This will go on for two weeks, so hop to it!  You can also get a $25 coupon with the code "blairosaurus" over the next two weeks too.  And if there's any menfolk out there reading, JORD has both women and mens watches.  Yay!

I'm rocking the Frankie Purple and Plum and seriously loving it.  I love how big the face is and it compliments my hair and many of my frequent signature colors that I wear.  The watches are made from wood so they're very durable and sturdy.  I thought the watches w…

Ocean Front Members Only

Is this a style post only I could bring you or what?  Not only did I mix prints (three times, as the Forever 21 shirt is gingham, the ModCloth briefcase is dinosaur printed, and my true vintage skirt is an ocean front border print!) but I'm mixing vintage with modern fashion.  It seems that many vintage-y bloggers tend to stray from any trends, which is silly to me because these bomber jackets are SO comfortable and practical for between seasons weather (and frankly, Members Only IS a vintage brand)!  I tied this whole look together with using the Members Only Satin Washed Boyfriend Jacket in burgundy with these platform heels from Amazon by Dadawen.  I feel the burgundy bookends bounce off the greens and blues nicely.

How's everyone's week been?  Thanks for allowing me to take a week off!  Not only did I have obligations at the Comedy Central Stage and the Upright Citizen's Brigade stage this week, but I was hosting one of my very best friends who came to visit me!  …
