- Hey all! I only have one but kind of big announcement this week, and that is that my comedy project, Just Shair!, is off the ground now. We're working out some kinks with our official site, but below is our YouTube video followed by all (current) social media accounts (we follow back fellow blogger and personalities that we recognize, PS). This week we cover St Patrick's Day, as it is later this week. So take a gander if you wanna giggle, or at least see me in live action as I always get a kick out of watching other bloggers in videos after reading their blogs (I believe this is my first video I've EVER shared with any of you!) Hope you enjoy!
About the dress: A LOT of girls saw this dress as a Christmas dress. I mean, it is red and green, sure. But it has foxes all over it and they aren't Christmas-y per se. A few foxes are wearing red and white stripped sweaters, but I see that as more of a Where's Waldo? theme. So I decided to go against the norm and fancy this dress an all-seasons dress.
Proving my point I added yellow for the accessories, so it really doesn't look like one holiday or another. That said, it is officially GREEN week with it being St Patrick's day this week! A lot of people get stuck in the trap of only wearing green shirts, but here's an example of a green dress. I personally don't believe you have to wear green head to toe, which is another reason why I added yellow as a St Patrick's day outfit inspiration. I think that if green is your base color, you're doing just fine!
Style details: This Retrolicious dress is originally from ModCloth, but has since sold out. Unique Vintage still carries it HERE though. The cardigan is Target Style, the brooch is Erstwilder, and the shoes are Nine West.
Music Time: I've done a lot of fox themed outfits lately, it seems! This time around I'm using yet another song with "Fox" in the song title, "Foxy Foxy" by Rob Zombie (or, Bobby Zombie, as I think it's fun to call him). I saw him in concert a few years back and while I am a fan, I have to say there were too many pyrotechnics for my taste...and a lot of screaming. Also, his fans terrified me. One girl had Charles Manson tattooed on her back...yikes. But I still love his music, so here he is on my blog!
