Hey all! If you're a fan of Pinup Girl Clothing then you know this week that it's Jenny January (#jennyjanuary). The "Jenny" is a particular cut of skirts and dresses that you can find at Pinup Girl Clothing that is a complete fan favorite. I'm such a fan that I had to divide my Gaga for Pinup Girl Clothing post into two segments and tackle only the Jenny skirts in the first post! (Second post coming ASAP...!)
This particular skirt I discussed in the Jenny skirt post and I cited it as being a little more snug than the other Jennys in a size small. I don't take that back, but I will say that every time I wear it it gets a little more flexible, so take that intel as you may! (No, I haven't lost weight since purchasing the skirt).
I had a totally different color scheme in mind for today's post, but I decided to save it for spring when brighter color schemes are a must ;) My brain is already in spring, haha. I'm sooooo not a winter girl. I'm more than ready for January to end and see what kind of weather February brings, as it's usually a mixed bag with a lean on spring. Honestly, January hasn't been bad at all. But for whatever reason the snow isn't melting as quickly as usual making getting photos kind of difficult! So many sidewalks have ice from melted snow freezing and the ground is kind of too wet and muddy in some of my usual spots for nice shoes! I made due with a patch of dry and barren ground in these pics, haha. I'm wearing an H&M cardigan, a Luxulite brooch, a NicCoco Creations hair flower (I've missed those, as I haven't worn them enough lately!), Charming Charlie glasses, and Nine West shoes.
I'm in more of a rush than usual (see above weather issues making taking photos in a prompt matter difficult, plus winter allergies, and today trying to get to a podcast meeting...), so I'll save the motivational stuff for another post. I love the song "Vienna" by Billy Joel, and since this skirt features and Italian landscape, I figured why not name this post after that song? The song is a lesson in having patience too, so I suppose that could work for my missing positivity/motivational aspect of this blog! Ha. XO
