How. could. I. not. own. THIS. DRESS?!?!  I wanted it for forever, and then ModCloth put it on sale and with discount coupons last month, thus it became mine.  Ever the novelty print lover, and once again Retrolicious/Folter makes my heart beat so fast.  (They seriously have some of the best crazy fun prints out there...and I'd nominate them for best of this 2015 year).  Best of all, the fit is amazing!  Some Retrolicious dresses run a little large and I have to shrink them.  Occasionally on their website they have XS, and if you get their dresses through ModCloth there is an XS option, but I find that size in this brand to be too tight in the armpit area.  So smalls are what I own and when I first tried on this dress I did the happy dance because it was the best fit ever for this brand, as well as one of the best fitting dresses that I own!

Rounding off this outfit is a Target Cardigan, an Erstwilder brooch that was included in a purchase and sadly cannot be purchased, knee highs from Jessica Simpson, and shoes from Nine West.  I love knee socks but have scarcely worn them for blog-land.  I'm trying to change that this winter-y season, and looking ahead already, into spring.  Also included in this outfit...are these bitchin' faux glasses with fake eyelashes painted on the rims I found on eBay for $2 and immediately purchased.  I went back to purchase a few for friends, but there were no more, otherwise I'd tell you what vendor I found them from!

There's some changes coming up on this blog other the next month or so.  It still will primarily be a fashion blog, with some musical flavors to it, as it is now.  But I'm going to try to open the door a bit to other venues though too, as I've gotten off track with why I even began blogging and as of lately, that's been showing because I haven't been as happy blogging as I once was.  But all will be revealed!  For now here's my goofy side, as I don't get to showcase that quite enough here on this blog or it's related social media.  I'm working on changing that, and though I don't wish to speak too soon as there's been some changes and a bit of a revamping period has been happening, comedy projects (possibly plural!) are coming your way.  (Sigh...::knock on wood::)  Again, all in good time and I will be revealing all the changes and other things headed your way ASAP!

The New Year is coming up.  Everyone always makes resolutions and such and usually the execution of them comes up short.  I'm not really one for resolutions, but I am one for noting the passage of time and the start of a new era, even if it's just a new calendar year.  I'm going to do my best to resolve as much as I can in my life BEFORE 2016 so I'm not bringing that baggage into 2016.  For instance, I've been putting off opening some emails and engaging in some tough conversations.  It's my mission to do those before January 31st.  I also have some early 2016 deadlines and my life will be so much easier if I just get them done beforehand.  Anyone else in the procrastination boat and wanna join me in tying up loose ends before the new year?  Anyone else have a tactic worth sharing so that 2016 starts off in the best way possible?  Sound off in the comments!

I decided to be kind of tongue and cheek with this blog post title with the song "Popular" by Nada Surf.  Any Nada Surf fan knows that while this was a huge hit of theirs in the 90s, they have way better stuff.  In fact, their song, "Always Love" is not only one of my all-time favorites, but it was the first "official" song title meets blog title that I did.  And it has one of my favorite lyrics of all-time, "Always love/hate will get you every time."  But I digress!  Their song "Popular" fits this title because of the POPcorn aspect of this dress (hahaha) but also due to the irony with the nerd glasses.  Oh, how I amuse myself with these titles!!  Have a great day folks, and tip your waiters!  (Yuck, yuck, yuck,...I know).

I've recently added two pages to this blog, one that catalogues posts named after songs and another that catalogues all of the concert stories.  Click the links on to see for yourself!  Happy Friday!

Hey, all!  I'm a big baseball fan and my mom is from Chicago so I grew up hearing about the Cubs history and am pretty amped to be here at game 7!  Anyone else into this year's World Series or have a fan favorite they're rooting for?
Anyway, I just wanted to do a quick post showing my fandom!  I decided to be silly and wear my Cubs tee with a skirt (same as my zombie skirt) from Retrolicious via ModCloth with bears all over them...get it?  Hehe. I'm not into totally normal sports attire, as I exhibited HERE. Stay safe tonight if you're out watching tonight!

What time is it?  THE TIME IS NOW.  Okay, now that I've gotten my favorite line from a Kids in the Hall sketch that I saw when I was 12 out of my system let's get to business!  The time is actually time to register for a watch giveaway and/or get a coupon, all thanks to JORD Watches. (Pronounced "Youd" as in like toad or road.  OR "Yoda" with no "a.")

Check out THIS LINK to try to get $100  towards a JORD watch and free sizing AND shipping.  This will go on for two weeks, so hop to it!  You can also get a $25 coupon with the code "blairosaurus" over the next two weeks too.  And if there's any menfolk out there reading, JORD has both women and mens watches.  Yay!

I'm rocking the Frankie Purple and Plum and seriously loving it.  I love how big the face is and it compliments my hair and many of my frequent signature colors that I wear.  The watches are made from wood so they're very durable and sturdy.  I thought the watches w…

Ocean Front Members Only

Is this a style post only I could bring you or what?  Not only did I mix prints (three times, as the Forever 21 shirt is gingham, the ModCloth briefcase is dinosaur printed, and my true vintage skirt is an ocean front border print!) but I'm mixing vintage with modern fashion.  It seems that many vintage-y bloggers tend to stray from any trends, which is silly to me because these bomber jackets are SO comfortable and practical for between seasons weather (and frankly, Members Only IS a vintage brand)!  I tied this whole look together with using the Members Only Satin Washed Boyfriend Jacket in burgundy with these platform heels from Amazon by Dadawen.  I feel the burgundy bookends bounce off the greens and blues nicely.

How's everyone's week been?  Thanks for allowing me to take a week off!  Not only did I have obligations at the Comedy Central Stage and the Upright Citizen's Brigade stage this week, but I was hosting one of my very best friends who came to visit me!  …
